First Lap - Pre-Opening Support

Your personal “Ramp-Up Team” will assist you in identifying, choosing and approving the best geographic location that meets your needs both financially and practically.

You will then begin an online training program complete with videos and live training seminars that will engage you and help build a foundation of knowledge which will jump start your Gamin’ Ride business. This is an on-going training with over 9 weeks of content and exercises.

  • How much is the franchise fee?
  • The franchise fee for your initial location is $ 35,000 for Gamin’ Ride and $ 10,000 for Earn N Burn. If you choose to purchase additional territories with your first location, the franchise fee for subsequent franchises is $ 29,000.

  • What does the franchise include?
  • The Gamin’ Ride Franchise includes everything you need for a turn-key operation. The franchise fee includes nine weeks of initial interactive online content, one week of training at corporate headquarters, on-site field team training in your area, PR firm services, a 90 day Marketing Program, marketing essentials and a comprehensive operations manual. Your on-going royalties and technology fee includes: the website & location page, toll-free phone number, GPS tracking, social networking management platform, Gamin’ Ride Connect management software, live video software, SMS & Bluetooth technology, guest service center and on-going training (annual convention and consistent support).   • What are the on-going costs/fees?
  • After your franchise fee, the only on-going costs associated to your Gamin’ Ride franchise is the royalties, technology and merchant fees.

    The royalties are based on your gross collected funds minus any taxes and are assessed based on a percentage. The Royalty Fee is 6% and the Advertising Fee is 2% -- a total of 8%. The advertising fee is deposited into a separate account and those monies are used for the marketing needs of all franchisees collectively. Your contribution is pooled with all locations so that we can harness the buying power.

    The technology fee is $ 250 a month and covers the costs for all technology used to help manage your business. The costs cover the following software systems: Gamin’ Ride Connect CMS, Social Networking, Email Marketing, SMS & Bluetooth Marketing, Website, Live Video Feed, GPS Tracking, Toll-Free Number, Third-Party Call Center and Online Training Portal.

    The Merchant fee is the actual fee charged by the credit card processors for the credit card transactions made by your specific location. This fee varies month to month based upon our transaction amounts and number of transactions.

  • Are there any minimum royalties?
  • Unlike other franchise systems, there are absolutely zero minimums on any royalties. Royalties are calculated on a percentage basis multiplied by your gross collected funds. There is no minimum you must meet. We simply believe that it is unreasonable and, based on our experience with current franchisees and our Item 19, a minimum does not need to be charged because our teams are already exceeding expectations.

  • How much does it cost to buy a franchise?
  • The cost for a franchise varies based on the type of package you decide to purchase. In our FDD, each package is outlined through its specific Initial Investment sheet. We encourage you to Get Started Here and gain access to our E-Tour. At the end of the Business Concept section is our FDD, which should be downloaded and read. There you will learn the specific levels of investment for each franchise package. In addition, to the cost of the actual theater, franchisees will incur costs related to insurance, professional service (lawyer & accountant), office supplies and working capital. All other costs are built into the turn-key unit, which is delivered, or awarded, to the franchisee directly.

  • What types of financing do you provide?
  • Gamin’ Ride does not provide direct financing. However, we do offer multiple third-party financing options which are available to well-qualified individuals. If you would like specific information regarding our financing options please speak to your franchise advisor today! Some of our options include: SBA, Unsecured lines of credit, leasing and 401k and IRA rollovers. Gamin’ Ride is SBA approved which will help any prospects secure a loan using that route.

  • How do you form territories?
  • Our “Ramp-Up Team” and your franchise advisor will assist you select and outline your franchise territory. Each area of your territory must touch. Territories are based upon population and we use three hundred thousand as a maximum number. Each territory must undergo a census evaluation and be approved by the corporate office. This ensures we are awarding a franchise territory that we know can withstand a Gamin’ Ride business.

    If you are interested in purchasing larger areas including cities, counties or states please consult your franchise advisors. We offer options for single operators, multi-unit operators, area developers and master developers.

  • What are the types of units available?
  • Gamin’ Ride offers six different types of units. Four units are available exclusively to the Gamin’ Ride Franchise System. Our iDance equipment can be used as an add-on/additional attraction for your Gamin’ Ride theater or as a stand-alone service/production throughout the school year and summer months. Our latest concept, Glamour Ride, can be owned as its own franchise or combined with a Gamin’ Ride business. Gamin’ Ride, Earn N Burn (iDance) and Glamour Ride are all separate franchises with their own franchise fees. The ownership of one brand does not assume ownership of the others.   • What are the revenue streams in addition to the theaters?

  • Can I talk to existing franchisees?
  • Yes, of course! We want you to be able to speak to as many franchisees as you would like. With that said, we do our best to only pass on qualified individuals who are towards the end of their Discovery Process to our franchisees. When that time comes, your franchise advisor will give you a special password to use when contacting our franchisees. That password will let the franchisee know they are permitted to communicate with a prospect and answer their questions.

  • How much money can I make?
  • This is a very popular question asked by many prospects. It’s a normal question too. Before investing money into a concept, you want to be sure of the return. In the past, we could not answer this question. In fact, most franchisors including those in the party & event entertainment industry could not legally answer this question. However, since we have published the financials of our franchisees into an Item 19, Financial Projection Disclosure, we can make statements from this document that support our franchisees’ performance. Moreover, our franchisees themselves can answer specific questions regarding anything financial. To see our Item 19, please speak to your franchise advisor. The financial assumptions vary by owner, location and other factors that determine income and success.

  • Why is your FDD so long and why do you have one?
  • The FDD is an acronym for Franchise Disclosure Document. The FDD is a legal document required by all states and some countries in order to sell franchises. Moreover, certain states require additional addendums, registrations and other requirements in order to sell franchises in that state. Since the FDD is a legal document, reading it can be very overwhelming. Therefore, take time to understand the document and outline any questions you may have so that your franchise advisor can help answer them. This document has been created to protect the rights of the franchisees and each State reads and files these documents, some each year, so that their citizens are not misled. We take this very serious and will take as much time as needed for our prospects to understand everything included in the Gamin’ Ride FDD.

  • How is your Item 19 about Financial Projections calculated?
  • Item 19 is part of the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and titled Financial Projection Disclosure. This document contains the financial data, both income and expenses, of each franchisee. These numbers are exported from the gross sales reports submitted by the franchisees each week. The numbers are then explained based on averages and included in Item 19.

  • The E-Tour is Gamin’ Ride’s formal Discovery Process to our business opportunity. The information on www.gaminride.com is merely a small introduction into the franchise business and systems. The E-Tour is a virtual brochure which is separated into six sections which are all locked, except the first one, “Why this Industry?”. Interested parties must register here first to get started and then complete the application at the end of the section.

    After your application is approved, your personal franchise advisor will contact you and begin to setup meetings online where additional sections of the E-Tour will be unlocked. It is important to us that our prospects understand everything there is and have all their questions answered before moving onto the next section.   • How long does it take to go through the franchise discovery process?
  • The timeline of this process is completely up to you. Your level of commitment and interest will determine how quickly you move through the discovery process. We have had prospects that moved through in three weeks and some that have taken up to three months. Legally you cannot buy a franchise until the 14-day waiting period is over after signing the FDD receipt.
